The Morton Police Department would like to wish the Morton Panthers the best of luck as they head to the championship game against the Leake Central Gators! 🐾🏆
From the looks of that picture, it seems the Gators may already be behind bars.😄 We’re proud of our Panthers and will be cheering them on all the way. Bring home the championship!

The Morton Police Department is sorry to hear of the passing of retired Morton Police Chief Jimmy Rogers. Chief Rogers went to meet the Lord on October 29, 2024. Chief Rogers served as Morton Police Chief for 12 years and served as a police officers for many years before being elected as Police Chief. I am honored to have worked under Chief Rogers for the entire 12 years served as Police Chief, as his Assistant Chief. Chief Rogers took his job as Chief much further than just enforcing the law. As a police officer, we have to work many holidays, on the holidays we had to work Chief Rogers and his sweet wife, Pat, always made sure we had something to eat. They both made us feel like we were part of the family. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent working under Chief Rogers. I can honestly say he was one of the best boss men I have ever worked for. The flag at Morton Police Department will fly at half staff until Chief Rogers reaches his final resting place. Please join us in keeping Chief Rogers family in your prayers through this difficult time.
