The Office of the Environment (OE) was created in 1992 to increase the environmental regulatory presence on the Lower Sioux Reservation and to develop environmental programs for the Community. Since that time, the OE has developed a wide variety of environmental programs and has worked effectively over the years to improve the health and safety of tribal members. Mission Statement
