Lower Sioux Government Center The Lower Sioux Indian Community is a federally-recognized Indian tribe located in south central Minnesota in Redwood County.

The LSIC’s mission is to strive to make reservation lands livable permanent homelands for tribal citizens through programs and services that promote the general welfare of tribal community including economic and social programs which are necessary to raise the standard of living and the social well-being of its membership.

🚨 Public Announcement – Morton Fire Department 🚨

The Morton Fire Department will be conducting Landing Zone (LZ) Training at the City Park on:

🕗 8:00 PM

During this training, you may notice emergency personnel and a medical helicopter operating in the area. This is a planned training exercise to ensure our crews are prepared for real emergency situations.

Redwood County is proud to offer a local Housing Trust Fund, expanding access to low‑interest loan programs that support local housing development and rehabilitation.

These programs are designed to strengthen housing options across the county by offering financing for:
• Development of new housing units
• Rehabilitation of existing rental properties
• Rehabilitation of owner‑occupied homes
