Set up will begin for the switch over, on our system, for credit card fees to be calculated onto payments made with credit or debit cards. Because of this, you will be unable to make payments on our website from 4:29 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 through 8:01 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Please note that all credit/debit card transactions made to Hardeman Fayette will show up as two seperate transactions on your card and receipts. One will show your amount paid and one will show the card fee on that amount.
Effective July 1, 2026, we will begin charging credit/debit card fees on ALL card payments. The amount of the fee will depend on the amount of your bill. The rates for the fees are as follows: $2.50 for all transactions up to $50.00. Any amount over $50.00 will be 2.8%, this is in addition to the $2.50 for up to $50.00.
You can sign up for bank drafts by printing the form off of the website under the Forms Tab - Debit Authorization Form - print, fill out, sign and mail or bring in to the office with a voided check. OR bring a voided check to the office and sign up here. No fees for bank draft - cash - check payments
