WATER USE REMINDER 💧
With the recent high temperatures, we have noticed an increase in water usage throughout the community. During periods of extreme heat, water demand naturally increases as residents water lawns, gardens, flowers, and landscaping.
To help conserve our water supply and keep water usage manageable, we ask residents to please consider the following:
Water lawns, gardens, and plants during the cooler hours of the early morning or evening. This helps reduce evaporation and allows your plants to get the most benefit from the water.
Please check for leaks inside and outside your home. Even a small leak can waste a significant amount of water over time.
Check your toilets to make sure they are not running or constantly filling. A running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons of water each day.
Check faucets, outdoor spigots, irrigation systems, and hoses for leaks or dripping water.
Please be mindful of unnecessary water usage during these extremely hot temperatures.
We appreciate everyone's help in conserving water and protecting our community's water supply.

My name is Arnas. I am a college student from Lithuania, Europe doing our summer internship here. Just checked in with the City Hall.
I am going door to door helping families with their education. We sell educational books & apps with Southwestern Advantage for little babies all they up to SAT & ACT preparation.
This is My first summer here in Kansas we have been having a blast here!

I DO NOT REPRESENT OR ARE AFFILIATED with any of the schools.
This is my summer internship and this is the way that I get to pay my way through school.

We sell:
Study guides that help parents help their kids with common core Math & other subjects
Study guides that help kids save time on schoolwork & studying for tests

Fun and educational kids books from babies till end of elementary school to give them a head start for preschool and kindergarten
Advanced learning materials that help your child excel in AP classes and SAT & ACT’s

And even a program for developing skills, habits & knowledge for a successful life!

I’ve heard great things about the people and community of Hugoton from the neighboring towns.
I’ve worked in so I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone!🙂

The firing and discharge of fireworks in the city is allowed between July 1st through July 4th, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.
Keep a water hose handy when shooting off fireworks.
Please clean up any fireworks debris off the road when you are done shooting off fireworks each day.
Also, NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED ON SCHOOL PROPERTY,
*ATVS, UTVS, RTVS, side by sides, and four-wheelers: such vehicles may be operated on the city streets and alleys within the City of Moscow, Kansas, starting at 12:00 a.m. on July 3 to 11:59p.m. July 4 to be used in conjunction with Park Day on Main Street. These vehicles must follow street laws and city ordinances, including the age of use with a licensed driver and stopping at stop signs
