On Veteran’s Day our cadets stood in formation to pay our respects during the Veteran’s Day ceremony. We also were able to participate in the color guard to present the national colors and the branch flags.

Many of our cadets are involved in intramurals on top of ROTC! Typically, the teams are comprised of battalion members but some also bring in other students join in on their teams which makes for a great recruiting opportunity along with fun!

Happy Halloween from the Chrisman Battalion! We had a great time playing dodgeball in our Halloween costumes and crowned our spookiest squad for the year! Congratulations to 1PLT 3SQD for being the spookiest squad!

Over the summer, Cadet Austin had the opportunity to attend cadet field training (CFT) at West Point. She was able to learn a lot of skills and rounded out her time there with a helicopter ride over West Point which was her favorite part.

During class the other day, he embodied when he reacted quickly and assisted with a student who went unresponsive until medical emergency personnel arrived.

Cadets Horlebein, Hogan, and Hunter all graduated from Basic Camp over the summer! They were able to participate in many events including the high ropes course, the confidence course, the night infiltration course, the pop up range, and a lot more. Congratulations on your accomplishments!

We are spotlighting Cadet Rehorn for his actions in his film class last week! On Thursday, they were discussing types of shots and cuts used in movies and one of Rehorn’s classmates became unresponsive. Rehorn decided to jump in and offer aid to his classmate. He moved him to the floor and monitored his heart rate and breathing until he became responsive again and the paramedics arrived.
