📢🏊🛟 Covington Park beach will reopen Saturday. Department of Health regulations have been met. Lifeguards will be on duty at 11 a.m. or swim at your own risk.

LAKES ARE OPEN! 📢🏊⛱️☀️👙💦🛟📢
Lakes and beaches are open seven days a week, dawn to dusk at Aylesworth Park, Covington Park and Merli-Sarnoski Park. Lifeguards are on duty only for special events. Pets are allowed in the water outside of the swimming area. There is no fishing in the beach area. The Parks and Recreation Department regularly tests all county swimming facilities for water quality.

The splashpad at McDade Park is now open and will remain open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stay tuned to find out when the pool will open!

The splashpad at McDade Park will open Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m. and will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

🐟 Aylesworth Park, 🛟 Covington Park ⛱️ and Merli-Sarnoski Park offer lake swimming. Beaches are open seven days a week, dawn to dusk. Lifeguards are on duty only for special events. Starting in June, Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging will host “Fridays in the Park” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Adults 60 years and older can join for activities, programs and lunch. Reservations are available for 50 people per park and can only be made for June at this time. Call 570-963-6710 ext. 1450 to make a reservation!
