Prizes were awarded to Carter Harlow, Cameron Batzel, Liam Graham, Ava Gouldsbury, Alivia Strauser, Brady Matulevich, Joe Basile, Nora DeSantis, Emma Ziller, and Santino DeFazio. Special thanks to our Middle School Student Council, staff, and students for supporting the program!

North Pocono Middle School held its bi-annual career fair today with over 65 presenters from various professions. It was a great representation of parents and community members sharing their profession and career preparation with our students.
The 7th and 8th grade students attended an assembly in the afternoon presented by Intuitive Surgical. Matt Lytle, Jethro Pepe and Dr. Brian Mott shared their career path, education and training, and an overview of careers that Intuitive has for robotic surgery. A special thank you to Mrs. Rinaldi, Mrs. Baldwin and Mr. Janesko for their hard work in making this a successful event for our students.

Mrs. Colleen Cook, Middle School Autistic Support Teacher, has been named a recipient of the prestigious PPL STEM Educator Award. She was one of five teachers to receive this award. This honor includes a $1,500 grant dedicated to enhancing The Brew Crew, a student-led business for our Life Skills and Autistic Support students.
The Brew Crew provides students with hands-on experiences in managing a weekly coffee and snack service, from processing orders to school-wide delivery. Beyond the everyday business operations, the program serves as a vital tool for mastering hygiene, hospitality, communication, financial literacy, and organizational skills. This grant will be used to upgrade equipment and streamline operations, further empowering our student entrepreneurs.
We are truly proud of Mrs. Cook and her dedication to our students.
