GCCD, Trout in the Classroom

GCCD, Trout in the Classroom The program engages students, parents, and community members in environmental stewardship by connect

While the immediate goal of Trout in the Classroom is to increase student knowledge of water quality and cold-water conservation, its long term goal is to reconnect an increasingly urbanized youth to the lake system and the watersheds that sustain them. All schools, public and private, throughout the surrounding areas are welcome to participate in the Trout in the Classroom program.
