Do you know about the Big Bend Community College’s Viking Food Pantry? Whether you’re a student or employee at Big Bend Community College, the Viking Food Pantry (VFP) is there to make sure you have the essentials you need—no questions asked. They often run short on essential items and we thought we’d help with a food drive. This quarter, we’re focusing on TACOS! Ash St., behind Red Door Café downtown).
Here’s what we’re looking for: hard/soft shell taco kits, canned black beans, canned pinto beans, canned corn, salsa, taco seasoning packets, canned chicken, rice, canned diced tomatoes with green chilis… you get the idea!
