A man was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center after being trapped in his vehicle following a wreck Sunday morning

TMFD along with other agencies are responding to a MVC in the 9000 block of West AJ Hwy. Avoid the area as crews are actively working the incident.

Town of Mosheim crews are currently responding to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Twin Barns Road. Use caution in the area as responders work the scene.

One of our training drills this month focused on water relocation services. Firefighters sharpened their skills in several areas including the following:

-Establishing a draft from a static water source
-Transferring water for a tender shuttle operation
-Supplying the engine for fire attack operation
-Aerial flowing operation
-Ground monitor operation
-Establishing and supplying a ‘Rural Hitch’

Trainings such as these increase the effectiveness and proficiency of our firefighters. A special thank you to member Waddell for capturing these photographs.

****Use caution in the area of West Andrew Johnson Highway and Pottertown Road as firefighters from Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department, Town of Mosheim Fire Department, and Midway Vfd are working at the scene of a residential fire.****
