Today, the City of Moss Point Fire Department’s B-Shift trained on knot tying and proper tool hoisting techniques. These skills are essential for safely transferring tools such as axes, chainsaws, and Halligan bars from the ground to a roof and back again. Regularly practicing these skills improves efficiency during fireground operations and helps us better protect our community.

We received a special delivery today of a brand new set of battery powered TNT extrication tools! These tools are vitally important for saving lives and will be on Engine 3 at Station 3 in order to serve the east side of the city more effectively and efficiently.
