To enter to win:

• Turn in your completed log
• Earn entries for prize drawings

Earn additional entries by attending library events this summer or by completing our fun Summer Library BINGO. And, yes, you can absolutely complete our challenges without attending library events.

🌿 Succulents 101 is still scheduled for Saturday on the library lawn.

📚 Main Street Memories has been cancelled for this Saturday. As a result, the library will be open during our regular Saturday hours of 9:00–11:00 AM.

Still want to join our first Summer Day Camp? There's still time!

Pre-registration has been extended for next week's event. If your child (K-3) would like to attend, please call, email, or stop by the library to let us know. We'd appreciate hearing from you by Monday morning so we can plan enough supplies for everyone.

Our Summer Reading Program has officially started! Reading logs and BINGO sheets are now available! 📚

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, from 1-2 PM for our Summer Reading Kickoff Party. After a brief staff presentation on the summer reading program, we'll have bubbles, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, blocks, and more activities for kids and families.

Parents can register children during the event, pick up reading logs and schedules, and learn about this year's reading incentives and prizes in-person.

Patrons: Please note that the main library area will be used for the Kickoff Party from 1-2 PM.

We're excited to kick off a summer full of reading, learning, and fun. We hope to see you there!

Join us on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30–10:30 AM for a hands-on introduction to succulents with library board member Lori McAllister.

This class will cover the basics of succulent care and planting. Each participant will plant their own succulent to take home, and all supplies will be provided.

Even if you already have a growing collection of houseplants, this class is a great opportunity to join us for our summer reading program and see what all we have going on at the library this summer. Each participant will get a chance to win one of our prizes.

Summer is fast approaching, and our June & July Summer Reading calendars are finally here!

This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is 🌱 Plant a Seed, Read! 🌱 and we have a variety of programs planned for all ages throughout the summer.

This summer’s schedule includes:
• Two Summer Day Camps in partnership with the Davis County Extension Office
• Events for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kids, teens, families, and adults
• Hands-on maker activities, STEM fun, a live animal program, and LEGO Club
• Saturday nature programs (for ages 12+)
• Community history discussions
• Grab & Go Craft activities
• Reading logs, BINGO sheets, and prize drawings!
• A Community-wide Celebration at the end of our summer program

Summer Reading participants can earn prizes by reading, attending programs, and completing activities. We’ll have four age groups for grand prizes this year.

📌 Calendars will be sent home with local students this week. You can also pick up copies at the library.
