Valley Stockyard will be having a Special Value-Added Weaned Sale on Wednesday, October 21st at 11:00 AM, running in conjunction with our regular sale.

Please contact the office to pick up special ear tags for this sale. We will be at office on Wednesday(October 14th) until 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 o’clock to 12 o’clock.

To qualify for this sale, calves must meet the following requirements:

* Two rounds of live respiratory vaccines, such as Bovi-Shield Gold.
* Two rounds of blackleg, such as Calvary 9.
* Weaned a minimum of 45 days.
* Heifers guaranteed to be open.
* Steers must be healed.
* Dewormed with a drench such as Synanthic, along with an injectable or pour-on dewormer such as Dectomax or Cydectin.

We have 500 plus in the barn for tonight’s Special Stock Cow Sale at Valley Stockyard in Moulton AL. The sale starts at 6 p.m.

If you buy cattle tonight and need to leave them until Sunday (after the storm has passed), we will make sure that your cattle are on hay and water. You will not be charged for this service.

Come out and buy some cows! We have a really good selection tonight.

🐄 October 9th- FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL STOCK COW SALE 🐄

🔥 We’re now expecting 400+ head of cows for Friday night’s sale!

🌮 COME HUNGRY! We will have a food truck on-site Friday night!

We have a great set of replacement cows lined up. Take a look below and scroll through our recent posts to see some of the consignments.

A few things to know about the sale:

➡️ We will do our best to sell cattle in the approximate order that they have been consigned. We will sell each consignor’s cattle in their entirety before moving on to the next consignment.

➡️ Any cattle brought in that have not already been consigned to us will sell after the advertised consignments.

Our goal is always to maintain a steady market from the first animal to the last while keeping the sale running smoothly and efficiently. We appreciate everyone who sells cattle with us, and we work hard to give every consignor the best opportunity we can from start to finish. We are equally committed to taking care of our buyers and appreciate the continued trust and support from both sides of the auction.

➡️ Open cows and weigh cows will sell at the end of the sale. This includes cows that are worth more by the pound than by the dollar, such as long-footed cattle, cows with bad udders/bags, etc.

➡️ Any feeders brought in will also sell at the end of the sale.

🚛 BUYERS — NEED TRUCKING? We will be happy to help arrange transportation for any cattle purchased!

➡️ SATURDAY PICKUP: Buyers who need to pick up their cattle on Saturday are more than welcome to leave them with us overnight! All cattle staying overnight will be placed in pens with water and, as space allows, will also be put on hay.

➡️ SATURDAY LOADING: Someone will be at the stockyard beginning at 7:00 AM Saturday to help load cattle and will remain on-site until every cow has been loaded and all purchased cattle have been picked up.

We appreciate everyone who continues to put their trust in us and look forward to another great sale!

This little herd will be at our Special Stock Cow Sale on Friday night, October 9th at 6 p.m.!

There are 7 pairs and 4 bred Charolais cows. They are all young and are bred to the Simmental Bull pictured. He is 5 years old and has had a recent bse, guaranteeing him sound.

These fancy Angus plus/ Brangus cows are consigned to our Special Stock Cow Sale on Friday, October 9th at 6 p.m.!

There are 10 of these cows and pairs. They are from 2 to 5 years old and are bred to the registered Hereford bull pictured. There are three pairs. These cows are as good as walks!

These cows are mostly all young/ middle aged and are super nice! They’re supposed to be mostly long bred and a few have calves on the ground!
