A UNITED VOICE ON BEEF IMPORTS

American Farm Bureau Federation, Livestock Marketing Association, National Cattlemen's Beef Association and United States Cattlemen's Association have joined together in a letter to President Trump urging him to reverse course on the proposed 90-day beef import plan.

Their goal: strengthen U.S. cattle production, protect producers and consumers, and preserve the long-term future of America’s cattle industry.

This is only creating more market instability and undermining the efforts to rebuild the U.S. cattle herd. This is simply hurting American cattle producers and driving prices down, unfortunately.

The other herd of 45 Braford cows are also in the barn now! They are young and they are the real deal! These are bred to a Tennessee River Music Hereford bull.

In addition to the herd of 45+ young Braford cows, these 9 fancy young tigerstripe/ crossbred cows will be at our sale this Wednesday, August 19th! They should be bred in 2nd/ 3rd trimester and are the right kind!

It’s a beautiful day today! The sun is shining, and the market is still great! We are expecting 350–400 head today.

We have a sellout of 35 cows and pairs today. There are several take-home cows in the deal!

We also have a deal of 45 steers and heifers with shots, straight off the cow. These are good cattle.

We have several other smaller groups of grouped calves as well.

We have two video loads today.

The first load is 700 lb. steers, 80% black, long-time weaned with two rounds of live vaccine. These cattle have condition.

The second load is mixed heifers based at 690 lbs. They are also long-time weaned with two rounds of live vaccine.

Next week, we have several deals of crossbred cows lined up. I will be posting pictures and more details later today!
