Join us as we open the doors to our newly renovated historic courthouse, built in 1936, and celebrate two special milestones - 90 years of our Historic Courthouse & 250 years of America🇺🇸🎊

Local leaders from Lawrence County recently attended the 98th Annual Convention of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA).

Congratulations to Lawrence County Commission employee Jason Logston, who was recognized for successfully completing the County Administration Certification Program.

We also congratulate Commissioner Nathan Kitchens on being elected to serve as the District 4 Board Member on the ACCA Board of Directors.

Lawrence County Commission will meet today at 4 pm for their monthly work session. The monthly commission meeting will be held Friday, August 14th at 9 am.

Both meetings will be held at the historic courthouse located at 14330 Court Street, Moulton. AL 35650.

For four decades, Tammy Vinson has been a constant presence in emergency services throughout Lawrence County.

From serving on the ambulance, working in Emergency Management, supporting TVA Radiological Emergency Preparedness, and even answering the very first 911 call ever placed in Lawrence County, Tammy has dedicated her career to serving and protecting the people of our community.

Her 40 years of service represent an incredible legacy of commitment, dependability, and care for Lawrence County and its residents.

Thank you, Tammy, for your many years of dedicated service to Lawrence County. Your contributions have made a lasting difference, and we are truly grateful for all you have done. ❤️

The Lawrence County Commission is incredibly appreciative of these hardworking students and their commitment to serving others. Their efforts helped to improve the appearance and safety of Veterans Park.
