🦃 LCHS Thanksgiving Meal Registration

We received enough interest to move forward with welcoming parents and guardians to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with their child at LCHS on Wednesday, November 18th!

Guest meals are $6 each and include a traditional Thanksgiving meal and a drink. All tickets must be prepaid by Friday, September 11th. Registration forms and payments should be returned to the LCHS lunchroom.

Students will receive the purchased tickets to take home. All guests must have a ticket to enter the building on the day of the meal. We will not be able to sell meals on November 18th.

A specific arrival and meal time will be sent home to each family that purchases tickets. This information will be shared closer to the event, and we will let you know which lunch period you will attend with your child.

Forms may be downloaded here or picked up in the front office. This information will be on the morning announcements as a reminder for next week.

We are excited to welcome our LCHS families for this special meal!

🦃 Would you be interested in joining your child for a Thanksgiving meal at LCHS?

We are considering welcoming parents and guardians to eat a Thanksgiving meal with their child on Wednesday, November 18th. The cost would be $6 per guest and would include a traditional Thanksgiving meal and a drink.

Since this would be a new event for our high school, we first need to determine whether there is enough interest to move forward with planning. Please complete the short interest survey below to help us estimate participation.

Completing the survey does not reserve a meal or require payment at this time. If there is enough interest to hold the event, we will make an additional post with more details!

Out of an abundance of caution, MES, MMS, and LCHS implemented “Secure Perimeter” protocols around 8:30 today due to police activity near campus. Safety is of the utmost importance in Lawrence County Schools, and at no time were students in danger. Students have resumed their normal schedules at this time, but the school remains in heightened awareness.
