Moulton Fire is having annual pump testing performed this morning on all four pumpers and our tower truck.

This annual test ensures that our apparatus pumps are operating properly and meeting NFPA standards for pump capacity.

At Moulton Fire, we are always striving to keep our equipment in top condition and ready to respond whenever our citizens need us. Our goal is to make sure our firefighters have safe, reliable equipment ready to go when the call comes in.

Moulton Fire Department was honored to have the opportunity to visit the Lawrence County Signature School today!

We had a great time teaching the students and providing hands-on experience with first aid, basic CPR, how to use an AED, recognizing what is an actual emergency, and when to call 911.

We also went over fire extinguishers, including the proper way to use an extinguisher and how to safely handle a small fire.

The students also had the opportunity to tour our fire engine and learn about the equipment we carry. We explained what the different pieces of equipment are used for and how valuable they are to us when responding to emergencies.

We are very thankful to the Lawrence County Signature School for allowing Moulton Fire Department to come out and participate today. It was a great opportunity to share important lifesaving skills, fire safety knowledge.

Thank you for having us!

On this day, we remember and honor all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

We remember the tremendous sacrifice made by firefighters, police officers, EMS workers, and all first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We honor those who gave their lives that day, as well as those who have passed away in the years since as a result of the lasting effects of that day.

We will never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the lives they gave trying to save others.

Moulton Fire & Rescue proudly welcomes the new Engine 3 to our fleet. We are extremely grateful for the continued support from our Mayor and City Council in helping make this addition possible.

This new apparatus will enhance our ability to serve the community and provide the highest level of protection to the citizens of Moulton and Lawrence County. It is a valuable addition to our department, and we look forward to putting it into service.

As always, our top priority is the safety of our citizens, and ensuring we have the best equipment available to serve them effectively.
