ITS CAR SHOW TIME!!! Its hard to believe we are even thinking about car shows with the cold temps and white stuff on the ground, but that doesn't stop us from working on the event to make it bigger and better. This year will be the 20th Anniversary of the Black Kettle Festival and Car Show will be held on June 1st, 2024. Pre-registration for the car show can be done by visiting www.carshowpro.com/events/view/1681 , pre-registrations must be turned in by May 1st, 2024 to receive your FREE car show t-shirt. Update: The water leak is fixed. All water pressure should be returned to normal. Thank you to our city crews! You truly are amazing!!!

City crews are working on a water leak. Expect low water pressure in the 700 blocks of South Edwards and Randall and the 200 block of west Hoch. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work.

Today is the day!!! It may be cold out, but we are still having the rabies clinic. Come get your fur babies their vaccine and your city tags! Doors open at 9:00am. Located in the shop at the back of the city building. We will be there until 12:00pm.

Low temperatures can put a strain on the power grid. Here are a few tips to help keep it at a minimum.

1. Turn your thermostat down to a cooler level(65 to 68 degrees)
2. Avoid use of electric space heaters if possible
3. Limit use of unnecessary lighting and appliances
4. Allow any sunlight into the home by opening curtains during the day

City crews are out repairing a water main break at 552 Park Place. Some residents near that location may experience low water pressure. Thank you for your patience.
