• The annual fee is $25.00 (Payable upon registration)

• (24) available plots; 10x15 feet in size

• Choose your plot number

• Sign the required Community Garden - User Agreement

In partnership with the Rice Creek Watershed District, this sign was created to educate park users on the newly restored Silver View Pond stormwater system.

Annual Public Information Meeting for Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program

Public Works will hold its annual storm water public information meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View City Hall (2401 Mounds View Boulevard). The meeting will be conducted as part of the regular City Council meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Splash Down!
The splash pad opens on Friday, May 22 but unfortunately without 1 feature; the Shimmering Sheet.
During the spring start up, a water leak was detected at this feature by Staff. The extent of the necessary repairs would delay the opening of the splash pad therefore the feature will be offline for the season. Repairs are expected to commence after Labor Day weekend.

Hours of Operation: 10 am to 7:30 pm, 7 days a week!

Mounds View Community Garden

Are you a resident of Mounds View wanting to plant a vegetable garden but because you live in an apartment, duplex, 4plex, townhouse, or condo and you are prohibited from doing so?

City Council has given direction to Staff to reach out to the residents of Mounds View to determine if at least 75% of residents, that are prohibited by circumstances by which they dwell, are interested in renting (1) 10 x 15 plot for $25.00/season and planting a vegetable garden.

The plots will be located on a City owned lot, just south of the Compost Site on Long Lake Road and are required to be planted by JUNE 13.

The City understands this is a very short notice for those interested in obtaining and planting a vegetable garden plot.

Public Works is willing and committed to work diligently to make it happen if the interest is there!

If interested, please let us know by IM with your name, address and email address. A Community Garden Agreement (being drafted now) will be emailed to you.

MMCD begins spraying for mosquitoes today! If you see the helicopters, or people in bright vests, they're working with MMCD (Metropolitan Mosquito Control District)

Helicopter activity begins TOMORROW! MMCD will be treating areas of standing water where mosquito larvae have been found to be active in high numbers starting tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22nd). The materials consist of a dry granule containing the active ingredient Bti and are specifically formulated to target active mosquito larvae and pose no health risk to humans, pets, pollinators, or other animals.
