Important Update: The August 18th Town Hall meeting is rescheduled to take place at Mounds Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. due to renovations at the community center.

I recently visited the community center to touch base with the workers and was delighted to see the progress. The old tile has been removed and the floors are being cleaned and prepped for further renovation. The community center will soon be transformed into a beautiful venue suitable for hosting weddings, bridal showers, and birthday parties. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone for their patience and cooperation throughout this renovation process.

Congratulations, Frank, Deweese your citizen of the month. Frank has been so giving to this community as he and his wife both tutor students as well as teach drivers ed for free and sometimes for pie Ha ha, but wow what an amazing asset to our community they are and we want to say thank you from all of the town of Mounds from everyone that they help and all of the wonderful things they do for the town Congratulations and thanks for all you do!

Thank you to the mayor Tim S McNabb for. Providing these cases of water to the town during this time.Due to water rationing. Although the town of Mounds provides. The sewer, the fire and the trash our kind mayor wanted to do something to help. The residents of this town. We do have water still left today, so while supplies last you're welcome to come and get the water, and if you see your mayor, tell him, thank you.
