FRIDAY IS PICTURE DAY!
Friday is Fall Picture Day at GMS! All students will get their pictures taken for the yearbook. Your child should send home a picture form to fill out and return on friday, or you can order pictures online with the code below.

Our GMS SAVE Promise Club will meet Tuesday morning at 7:40 in the media center with Mrs. Hawks.

What is the SAVE Promise Club?

Gentry Middle School’s SAVE Promise Club is all about helping students make a positive difference in our school and community. SAVE stands for Students Against Violence Everywhere, and club members work together to create a school where everyone feels safe, supported, included, and valued.

Through the SAVE Promise Club, students focus on four important goals: Educate, Empower, Encourage, and Engage. Members have opportunities to promote kindness, raise awareness, encourage their classmates, participate in service projects, and help make Gentry an even better place!

SAVE Promise Club members: Mrs. Hawks would like everyone to meet in the Media Center at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday morning!

Learning is better together! Mrs. Mabe’s 6th grade Social Studies students worked with partners today to read and discuss an informational text about matter. Students collaborated to complete a graphic organizer and answer questions, putting their reading comprehension and teamwork skills into action!
