Downtown Rocks & Runs absolutely rocked this morning! We're always amazed at the endurance of the athletes who run this 5k and 10k. We are also thankful to be part of this amazing community who join in with United Fund of Surry to help and support Surry County!!!

We love our Department of Juvenile Justice North Carolina Department of Public Safety 17B!!!!!!!!!
Our Stokes and Surry Team organized a great Kickball game 'Last Chance for Summer Fun!!!! Court Counselors, programs, and our kids had a blast!!!!

Thanks to The Youthology Project for a fun Back to School Bash in Elkin at Crater Park this morning!

Surry All-Stars Prevention Coalition was able to gather important youth surveys and share substance use prevention information with families that attended. ❤️

Agencies involved were Elkin Police Department, Elkin Fire Department, Safe Kids Surry County ,Yveddi and more, providing a free hot dog lunch and school supplies for a strong start to the school year!

Backyard Bible's Back to School Bash at Germanton Park was a blast! The Children's Center of Northwest North Carolina and SFoY together gave away 11 bicycles, 18 toys, and over 60 tabletop games to encourage quality family time. Parents were provided with strategies about making the new school year successful and educated on the importance of positive childhood experiences. In partnership with Insight Human Services , Shepherd's House, various local churches and Toys for Tots, the evening was one of community, positivity, caring and connection. Have a GREAT 26-27 school year, Stokes County!

We are so grateful for such a generous donation from the Mount Airy plant Texwipe !!!!
Employees worked hard to gather, sort, and pack backpacks for ALL our mentees returning to school!!! They are providing school supplies, snacks, and hygiene kits to ensure our kids have a great start to their school year. It is an honor to partner with such a wonderful business that gives back to our community!!
