LuRosa Atkins Manor

LuRosa Atkins Manor April and Ed Atkins have opened their farmhouse style home built in 1862 by the Jones Family to the public. The Atkins' have opened there home as a tour home.

LuRosa Atkins Manor is a farmhouse that was built in 1862 by the Jones family. Ed and April Atkins purchased the home in 2002 and began to remodel. Ed is a stained glass artist and he has filled the home with his beautiful stained glass artwork. Each room has a different theme, and each room is filled with many different antiques and collectibles. For only $8 you can tour the home, special rates for groups and children.

The KFC( Kids for Christ) from The People’s Church in Pilot Mountain came to tour with us tonight. Thirty two kids and five adults. The smartest most wonderful kids you’ve ever seen. I’m blessed to be able to help with KFC in our church and these kids are terrific. Thank you so much I love you guys very much.

One of the most wonderful things about our tour home is meeting such sweet people who have become wonderful friends. We met Dale and Bill McGrath in May this year. And today they came back for a visit and see the Christmas decorations. They also bought us some wonderful antique gifts for the western room.
