🎶 Mustang Musicians Shine! 🎶

Last night, our Meadowview band students showcased their talent at the 2025 Surry All-County Band Auditions!
Students were challenged to perform three major scales, a chromatic scale, and a sight-reading exercise — and they rose to the occasion.

Out of 72 students representing six middle schools, an incredible 31 Meadowview students were selected to participate in the All-County Honor Band — more than any other school in the county! 💚💛

We couldn’t be prouder of our hardworking and talented Mustang musicians!

The 2025 Surry All-County Honor Band Clinic will be held November 24th from 4:00–7:30 p.m. at Elkin High School, continuing on November 25th with an all-day rehearsal and concluding with a concert at 7:00 p.m. in the Elkin High School Auditorium.

Come celebrate our students’ accomplishments and enjoy a wonderful evening of music! 🎵

From our Prayer Locker and Free Bibles station, to our Thankful Tree filled with heartfelt notes of gratitude, and even a creative pumpkin lesson reminding us to shine the light of Jesus — our students are spreading faith, hope, and kindness throughout the school. 🙏💛💚

🥫💚 MMMS Food Drive — Supporting Our Loads of Love Room! 💚🥫

Mustang Families, it’s time to come together to support our community! Meadowview Middle School is hosting a Food Drive from November 3rd–November 21st to help stock our Loads of Love room.

✅ Students should bring items to their homeroom teacher each day.
🎉 The grade level that collects the most items by November 21st will earn a celebration with music, games, and snacks to celebrate their hard work!

🌟 Red Ribbon Week Success! 🌟

Our Meadowview Mustangs made a powerful statement this week — from pledging to live drug free to participating in all the fun spirit days leading up to Halloween! ❤️🎃

Students proudly signed our “I Pledge to Be Drug Free” banner and showed off their creativity with pajama day, tacky day, neon colors, and costumes — all while promoting a positive, healthy lifestyle.

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated and to the SAVE Promise Club for sponsoring such an inspiring and meaningful week! 💪✨

This year, we did things a little differently — combining Gentry Middle School and Meadowview Magnet Middle School to create one phenomenal HOSA team (North Middle HOSA), and the results speak for themselves! 💪💙
