Mount Airy Net is a non-profit organization serving the needs of the people throughout the four county region surrounding Mount Airy, MD. The Net can provide support and emergency assistance such as:
Food/Toiletries
Prescriptions
Utility bills
Clothing vouchers
School supplies
Heating/Oil

In order to encourage clients to work out permanent solutions to their needs, Mount Airy Net will also refer

clients to other organizations and agencies for additional help such as support groups, job training, and transportation to health care.

What a beautiful day for the 10th annual customer appreciation cookout! Those stopping by donated $529. Thank you to the three longtime local business men. PJ at Twin Arch Barber & Stylist, for hosting and providing the food. His staff and The Moose Pit.

Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County is currently seeking reliable local contractors, carpenters, skilled tradespeople, and handymen to assist with ongoing small repair projects throughout the community.

These projects help us continue to support local homeowners and strengthen neighborhoods across Carroll County. Work details, expectations, and project scope will be discussed in advance for each assignment. All applicants should be licensed and insured and able to provide references.

Please note: this opportunity is for paid work and is not a request for donated or volunteer services.

A guest chose a cranberry walnut loaf of sour dough bread that was donated through Bold Love Bakery. She was talking about how she couldn’t believe that so many in the community had come together to replace their green house after the storm. She also mentioned the large turn out for our recent BINGO fundraiser. I told her we have an amazingly generous and caring community.Just look what you did in 2025! They appreciate you! We appreciate the support!

There was another cereal dominos collection just in time to restock us. This one was held at Lisbon Elementary School. We were able to share the over 500 boxes of cereal with Morgan Chapel United Methodist Church’s pantry.
Wish I had video of the cheers at the end!
