Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute - NCRO The MFRI North Central Regional Training Center delivers training to Carroll, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery Counties.

Learn how to perform shipboard fire suppression operations as part of a firefighting team. Teaching topics include: shipboard fire behavior; ship construction, arrangement, systems, and staffing; shipboard firefighting strategy and tactics; marine communications; incident management; and hazardous materials incident mitigation.
