We are a locally run nonprofit community center that supports Mt. We're a nonprofit, hand crafted goods store that features local artisans and crafters daily.

Angel residents with a place to convene and converse, provide a Meals on Wheels program for seniors, and staff a quaint store filled with unique treasures from local crafters and artisans. We also host a community gathering center inside the store as well as serve as the local Meals on Wheels hub for the Mt. Angel area. Food Box Site is open Tues - Wed 11:000 AM - 3:00PM. Coat Drive here at the Mt. Angel Senior Center. You can bring any gently used coats, sweaters, jackets, hoodies,etc. to the center during business hours. Our hours are Monday-Saturday 11-3.
Thank Your for your donations that will help those who may not have something warm to wear.
Also will accept children's outerwear.

Wow the weeks have flown by. The weather has been warm and sunny. Now we are at the time of year for the Ofest. It is September 15th through September 18th. Make sure you stop by during the four days to see all the holiday crafts. You wont be disappointed. We will be open 11-3 tomorrow. Tyler is back with BINGO tomorrow. Stop by, play a quick game and win a prize. Cards are only 75 cents. Enjoy your week and hope to see you. soon.

Good Thursday Morning.
Today will be a rousing good time
with Bingo from 1-3. Look forward to seeing at the Mt. Angel

Looks like we will be in the heat for the week. The Mt Angel Library is a Cooling Center please call 503-845-6401 for times. We are open until 3 if you need to stop in to col off. Tomorrow we are having the forum on Senior Housing. If you have questions, please come to the forum. Drink lots of water!

It will be another HOT one today. Stay cool. We do have air conditioning if you find that its to hot outside. Have a cold bottle of water and cool off.
A quick reminder of the Forum this Thursday, July 28th, from 12-2. It will be covering Senior Housing.
Also for a look ahead, we will be serving Strawberry Shortcake on August 12th for the 2nd Friday, from 5-8. Stop by have a shortcake on your walk about town.

The Food Bank will be open from 11-2 today and tomorrow. A reminder that the Food Bank will be closing at the Center August 1st. The Benedictine Mission has their Food Bank, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1pm-345pm.
Stop by if you’re in town and try your luck for a FREE ice
cream cone. Draw the word "Coupon" from the ice bucket and win a coupon for an ice cream cone at Burger Time.
Also, if you have concerns or questions about Senior Housing, join us Thursday July 28th from 12-2 for an informational forum.

Good HOT Tuesday morning. I heard there were some folks without power yesterday during this heat. I hope you were able to stay cool. Today we are open from 11-3. The Food Bank is open from 11-2. As I stated in a previous post, the Food Bank will be closing. The date will be August 1st. At that time we will no longer give out food boxes as we did in the past with perishable and non-perishable food items. Now the Center will be giving out pre-packed boxes(packed by Marion Polk Food Share) with non-perishable food items only. These boxes will be available Monday thru Saturday from 11-3.and are to assist you until the Benedictine Mission opens their Food Bank, Wednesdays & Fridays, from 1-3:45.
We also want to invite you to a a Fair Housing for Seniors informational meeting. This will be Thursday, July 28th from 12-2. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thursday Tyler is back with BINGO. Cards are .75 each. So come and join for a game.

Hello. Hope you all had a great 4th of July.
We are open today from 11-3. Meals on Wheels will be delivering their meals today and Thursday. If you or any person you know needs a little help with meals, please call Ginger at 845-9464. Join us Friday and Saturday for a game of cribbage and Yahtzee. There will be popcorn for 50 cents a bag also.
The Food Bank will be open from 11-2 today and tomorrow. We want to let you know that the Food Bank will be closing at the Center. We will keep you posted on the date. The Center will be com an After Hours Program. This means that Monday thru Saturday you can come to the Center for 2 pre-packed boxes (packed by Marion Polk Food Share)of non-perishable food. This will help get you through until the Benedictine Mission opens their Food Bank, Wednesdays and Thursday.
Join us this Friday for the 2nd Friday, 5-8pm. We will have root beer floats to enjoy while you walk about town.
When you’re out and about today, stop by, take a look at the handcrafted items and try your luck for a FREE Ice
Cream cone. Draw the word "Coupon" from the ice bucket and win a coupon for an ice cream cone at Burger Time.
We have an electric wheel chair with the charger for sale. We are asking $250.00. Come by and take it for a spin.

A reminder to everyone that we have a free medical equipment program at the Center. We have gently used walkers, bedside commodes, a bath bench, canes and more. Stop by and see if we have something that can aid you or your loved one in having a bit more independents.
We also have an electric wheel chair with the charger for sale. We are asking $250.00. It Works great. I tried it.
The month is coming to an end. It seemed to have gone quickly. But they do say "Time flies when you’re having fun." Enjoy your day!
