Today is Speech Pathologist Day!

This special day honors the life-altering work that speech-language pathologists do to diagnose, treat, and support individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

We have two wonderful Speech Pathologists that work with our Bobcats, Donna & Kate. Their experience, professionalism and calm kindness is easy to see in all of their interactions throughout our Butte Creek halls! We are so fortunate to have them here!

We appreciate the skills and care our nurses provide so much!

Today we celebrate School Nurse Appreciation Day in the Silver Falls School District and recognize the incredible impact of our school nurses.

Our nurses work tirelessly to support all schools across the district, often covering multiple sites and balancing the unique needs of each building. Their ability to step into different environments, build relationships, and provide consistent, high-quality care is truly remarkable. Whether supporting individual student health plans, responding to immediate needs, or helping guide building-wide practices, they are a steady and trusted presence everywhere they go.

To our school nurses—thank you for your flexibility, expertise, and unwavering commitment to our students and staff. Your work across multiple schools does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for all that you do each and every day.

I could go on and on about our amazing Butte Creek Teachers, but I'm on the clock...so I better not!
We appreciate these phenomenal role models, future shapers, confidants, etc. every day, but this week is "their week"!
