🔴Power Outage River Road:

Large tree took out the wires on River Road this morning. MedED has been notified and requesting more crews. Latest update is 11:30am today restoration. If we have anymore updates we will advise everyone

THE ROAD BY THE COLUMCILLE ON QUAKER PLAIN ROAD WILL ONLY HAVE ONE LANE OPEN FOR ABOUT 5 HOURS THIS MORNING FOR A TREE REMOVAL. PLEASE USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE DURING YOUR TRAVELS. THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE FINISHED EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THANK YOU.

An Android phone was found on the Westbound side of Centerville Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township a couple weeks ago. Red case, and the screen saver is a snowy mtn with pine trees. If it is yours, please contact the Township Building. 570.897.6127.

Paving Update:

Jacoby Creek Road is finished. Thank you all for being patient while we paved the road. Monday, weather permitting we will start River Road.

If you have chance to visit our park on Potomac Street, we have a new addition. Such a beautiful statue dedicated to Dr. Larry Rymon a past resident who reintroduced the Osprey to our community.

A ceremony will be held on this Saturday August 22, 2026 starting from 11am -12 pm to dedicate this statue honoring Dr. Rymon. All are invited to join his family at the Park for this special occasion. Hope to see you all there.

🔴Paving Update:

Winter street is completed. We are hoping to finish Jacoby Creek by Thursday. Currently the road is closed and open only to LOCAL traffic. Please alter your travels until the road is completed. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Board of Supervisors' scheduled meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, will be held at the Mt. Bethel Fire House, 2341 N. Delaware Dr. Mt. Bethel, PA. The meeting is scheduled 7pm-10pm. There is no meeting scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026.
