At 1323 hours today, units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with a possible entrapment in the area of the former Boylan’s Service Station.

Engine 25 responded with a crew of two.

During the incident, several motorists failed to follow directions from responders who were managing traffic on scene. Noncompliance in these situations creates unnecessary hazards for emergency personnel and others, and could result in fines or points on your driver’s license.

On Saturday March 14th, 2026, one of our members who is also a member of the Mt. Carmel Area Rescue Squad was in attendance for their 50th Anniversary Banquet. We would like to extend our appreciation to them for the recognition and congratulate them on 50 years of service. Stay safe, brothers and sisters. Here's to the next 50 years!

Tonight for our training night, members took the time to give the trucks and the station a deep cleaning. Tonight we had 5 members in attendance.
Also we are raffling off a fishing bundle. They are $2.00 a ticket for $175 value. It contains 2 fishing rods, a Berkeley tackle back, $50 Walmart gift card, 2 packs of hooks, and powerbait. Please contact any member for tickets.

Engine 25 is now clear of a MVA between Locust Gap and Locust summit.

8 personnel were on scene until released by command.

Roads are slick in spots so if you have to travel, please slow down and take your time!

Station 25 responded to this accident earlier this evening.

Once it was confirmed the driver was out of the vehicle most units were placed in service while command and minimal apparatus waited on a tow truck.

Santa has arrived at the station to take his tour around Mount Carmel township. While he's visiting the area, he will be taking a trip up the mountain to go around Mount Carmel Estates and Wilburton. He will be leaving the station around 6pm to begin his tour accompanied by engine 25, brush 25, and apparatus from Wilburton. If you hear sirens look out the window and give santa a wave!

A few of our members at Strong were able to talk with Santa while he was visiting Mount Carmel over the weekend. We were able to convince him to do one more ride around before he gets extremely buisness delivering presents to all the children. This coming Tuesday beginning around 6:30 Santa will be making his way through Mount Carmel township accompanied by Engine 25 and Brush 25! The members at Strong would like to wish everyone a safe and merry Christmas!

Earlier today, both the brush and engine were called to Coal Township to assist with the brushfire burning in the area known as Stony Point .

The station responded with six members and assisted on the first call as needed.

While on scene of the brushfire engine 25 was redirected to a possible second brushfire caused by a car in the area of “ the caves “.

As engine 25 arrived on the scene it was determined that that new brush fire was under control, and the engine returned to the previous fire to continue to assist the brush unit until early in the afternoon when both units were released.

This morning Mount Carmel Township and surrounding units were dispatched to MVA with rollover reported at the Strong connector.

Engine 25 was assigned traffic control and to shut down the road at 54 and 61 intersection.

During the incident we had a red SUV ignore the road was closed and drove around us.

While closing the road may be an inconvenience to drivers, is done for the safety of those working on the scene.
