Mt Carroll Pumpkin Fest

Mount Carroll Pumpkin Fest offers a variety of free, family-friendly activities to help you get into the Halloween spirit. Activities include Halloween story time at the library, face painting, a paint-a-pumpkin table, dancing witches, mini gourd build-n-race track, 3 giant inflatable games and a special area with many activities & games geared toward the younger kids. The day of Halloween fun concludes with the annual ping-pong ball drop.

The Farmers Market opens at 8 am with many vendors, a variety of food options, and live music by regional favorite Marques Morel.

This week or next week, all Carroll County Registered Voters that are not already signed up for Permanent Vote By Mail will receive this postcard. With this postcard, you can do several things. #1 box on the card, you can request a Vote by Mail ballot for this November 2026 election only. #2 box you can sign up for Permanent Vote by Mail. With this choice you must choose or 2 , you can only choose one option. If you choose to vote at your polling place on Election Day or at the Courthouse while early voting is conducted, voters do not have to do anything with the postcard. Voters may also check the box to opt out of receiving future Vote By Mail postcard mailing. When mailing back the postcard, it will require postage. Every county in Illinois is required to mail out this postcard.
