Heads up, Mount Clemens! Several downtown streets will be closed on Friday, June 26, from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM for the Independence Day Celebration fireworks. Please plan ahead, follow posted detour signs, and allow extra travel time if you're heading downtown.

We're kicking off Independence Day celebrations early in Mount Clemens with an evening of live music, patriotic traditions, and fireworks along the riverfront.

Join us this Friday, June 26, as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with family-friendly fun in Downtown Mount Clemens. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and enjoy one of our favorite community traditions.

⚠️ Water Main Break Update ⚠️

City crews have identified a significant water main break near 43 Northbound Gratiot. Water is currently flowing onto the roadway, and warning signs have been placed in the area.

Repairs are scheduled to begin tomorrow. Water pressure throughout the system appears to be stable; however, some residents may experience reduced water pressure until repairs are completed.

Please use caution when traveling through the area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as crews work to resolve the issue.
