This week, members of the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard also traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend National Police Week to honor the brave men and women in law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Their presence serves as a reminder that we will never forget those who gave their lives protecting our communities. We stand together with agencies from across the nation in remembering the fallen, supporting their families, and honoring their legacy of service and sacrifice.

We are proud of our Honor Guard for representing the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office with dignity and respect during this solemn and meaningful week.

In Memoriam
Deputy Theodore Radlinski
End of Watch: February 7, 1940

Deputy Radlinski had served with the Macomb County Sheriff's Office for five years.

Deputy Sheriff Theodore Radlinski sustained injuries when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of E 9 Mile Road and Van D**e Avenue in Warren on January 29, 1940. He was transported to a local hospital with numerous broken bones. He developed pneumonia and passed away on February 7th, 1940.
