The purpose of this page is for messages from the Village such as special events, street closings, sewer information and other involving Village operations. We offer a very nice Community Hall in the park at 100 Park Street. The rental fee for the use of the hall is $100 with a $75 deposit. After the event and the building has been inspected and nothing found out of order, the Clerk will refund th

e deposit by mail The contract upon signing will contain what is expected. To rent the building, contact Thory at 419-899-9294 for rental and information.

REMINDER!!!

VILLAGE TREE PROGRAM IN 8TH YEAR!

REMINDER, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN A TREE FOR YOUR PROPERTY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 IS THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST ONE. SEE BELOW FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PLANTING.

Dear Residents:
The Mayor and Council members decided at the last meeting to continue the tree program for our 8th year of the program. The Village provides you with a tree and you as the property owner would be responsible for planting, watering, and maintaining the tree. This tree can be planted anywhere on your property as long as it maintains the proper setback from property lines. No trees are to be planted in the boulevard (curb) area. All trees must be planted within the village limits.

This year council has decided on the Frontier Elm.

If you are interested in this opportunity or have any questions, please see any council member or Mayor Welch by SEPTEMBER 1st, so that we may proceed. We anticipate having the trees available to the residents by the end of September.
