🧪🌡️ 6th Grade Science: Melting Crayons! 🖍️This week, our Wolverines are learning about states of matter and how temperature can cause matter to change. Students are observing crayons as they melt, recording the outside temperature, and identifying whether the crayons are solid or liquid. Science is better when we can see it happen! 🐺🔬

🔬🧪 Science in Action!

Today, Mrs. Wolf’s 8th grade science students were putting the scientific method and science practices to work with a hands-on consumer lab exploring paper towel absorbency! 🧻💧

Students were asking questions, making predictions, designing and conducting investigations, collecting data, and using evidence to determine which paper towel performs best. It’s a great example of how science is used to answer everyday questions and make informed decisions!

Way to go, scientists!!

Our 6th Grade Wolverines had some science magic happening today! 👀🥛 We used oil and two glasses to create an amazing effect that made the glass inside seem to disappear!
Students got to see firsthand how light bends and refracts when it travels through different materials. Hands-on science makes learning come to life! 🔬
