Summer means time for fun in the sun. The village has worked hard to make the community pool a nice place to have fun. However, a few people have taken advantage and ignore pool rules.
Please remember to follow pool rules. No smoking (to***co or otherwise) on park property. You may smoke in your car. No alcohol, no illegal drug activity or fighting. REMEMBER we have cameras that video your activity! We will prosecute criminal activity.
As long as everyone follows the rules, summer swim time will be fun for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We have had many requests for information about County Independence Day Fireworks.
They will be held at the Mount Gilead High School on Friday, July 3rd starting at dusk approximately 9:45.
The Village will have part of Park avenue shut down with food trucks starting about 5:00. The school will have family friendly activities starting about 6:00.
You can put your lawn chair in the street if you wish.
Best places for viewing are the High school parking lot. Cherry Street Parking lot. The Mt. Gilead Church of Christ Parking lot. We are told they can be seen well at Kroger Parking lot as well.
