Mount Holly Township offers a wide range of recreational activities for residents of all ages and a comprehensive park system containing both passive and active recreational facilities. The Township Council appointed Recreation Committee provides the guidance and leadership and hard work that goes into developing and running all recreation events and programs. The Recreation Advisory Committee als

o provides analysis and recommendations to the Township Manager and the Public Works Department with regards to the township's parks and recreational facilities. The Recreation Committee sponsors programs for children and adults throughout the year, including sports leagues (youth basketball, etc..); athletic events (5K run/walk); summer recreational programming for children in the township; seasonal celebrations; and so much more!

Dear Facebook Friends and Family, I am pleased to announce that Mt.Holly Recreation will participate in the PBA Field Day Back Pack Giveaway Event on Saturday, August 15th.
We are soliciting donations of New and SLIGHTLY USED SHOES/SNEAKERS for Mount Holly students in Pre-K through 8th grade, as well as brand new socks all sizes and new backpacks 🎒

🚴 Attention, Mount Holly! The Cyclists Are Coming! 🚴

This Saturday (7/25), the Spellbound Century rolls back through Mount Holly. That means hundreds of cyclists will be making their way through town, enjoying the ride while the rest of us practice one of life's greatest virtues... patience.

If you're heading out, don't be surprised if traffic slows down here and there. Our officers will be stationed along the route helping keep everyone safe and traffic moving as smoothly as possible.

A few friendly reminders:
🚗 Give cyclists plenty of room.
⏱️ Leave yourself a few extra minutes if you're on a schedule.
👋 If you're watching from your porch or walking downtown, give the riders a wave (they've earned it).

And before anyone asks... No, we can't pull them over for riding too slow uphill. 😂

To everyone participating in this year's Spellbound Century, welcome to Mount Holly! We hope you enjoy the ride, stay hydrated, and have a great day on our roads.

The Mount Holly Recreation Department formed a partnership with Carie Lynne Mccay and the Gallagher's Gallagher's Taproom for Mt.Holly Recreation Department fundraising event held on July 17, 2026. We appreciate Carie Lynne Mccay's role in hosting this notable event and her ministry's receipt of the donations. Thanks are also due to Wounded Souls & Salty Dog for delivering outstanding music. Gallagher's Taproom's ongoing commitment to community support is exemplified through its hosting of our fundraiser and generous donations. This successful event showcased the power of community support, with a significant turnout and substantial funds raised.
