The Mount Holly Environmental Advisory Committee is hosting a volunteer event at the Community Garden (next to the baseball fields on Monroe Street) on Sunday, May 18 at 11:00 AM so we can spread wood chips that have been generously donated between and around the raised beds. Children are welcome to join but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Rain is once again in the forecast for Saturday, so the Grand Opening of Mount Holly's Community Garden is being postponed to 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 27. Sunday is supposed to be beautiful and we do not anticipate any further delays of the Grand Opening.

Garden plots are still available and anyone who’d like to reserve one (or more!) should contact the Environmental Advisory Committee Secretary at [email protected]. Plots can be reserved for $25 each, and financial assistance is available to those who can demonstrate need.

We also remain interested in donations for the Community Garden, and we ask that anyone interested in donating email [email protected] so we can discuss and coordinate as needed.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
