Rancocas Valley Regional High School District, located in historic Mount Holly, serves approximately 40 square miles of the suburban, single-family home townships of Eastampton, Hainesport, Lumberton, Mount Holly. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in September 2012, RVRHS is proud of the accomplishments of its socioeconomically diverse student population of nearly 1950 students. The school provides

RVRHS Varsity Club will be holding a school-wide collection of turkeys, hams, canned goods, or other non-perishable food items, toiletries and paper products until November 22nd for its annual Thanksgiving Day Food Drive in our county. Please call Donna Aromando (609-267-0830, ext. 3253) if you would like to donate any items. Drop off for donated items will be at 9:30am on November 22nd outside the automatic doors by the cafeteria. Thanks for your help with this worthy cause.

RV Alum Kelsi Worrell Named to the US National Swim Team for the Pan American Games

Congratulations to the RV alumnus, Kelsi Worrell, a junior for the University of Louisville women’s swimming and diving team, who was named among 18 women to the United States national team for the Pan American Games, to be held in Toronto, Canada, July 10-26. Worrell was also chosen for the World University Games. In August, Kelsi (100 fly) helped her chances for the national team by finishing sixth in the 100-meter butterfly at the U.S. Nationals in Irvine, California.

The Pan American Games team will be the second-tier of American athletes racing internationally next year. The world championships, set for July in Russia, will feature the best athletes based on times from this year’s nationals and Pan Pacific championships. Overall, 36 swimmers were selected with more than 20 National Team members, 10 Olympians and six Olympic gold medalists.

On Saturday, November 15th, David Arlen Jewelers will host a one-day, storewide sale exclusively for friends and families of the RV Dance Team! A percentage of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the RV Dance Team. You must mention the RV Dance Team for the team to receive credit and discount. Congratulations to the Red Devil Marching Band whose competitive season will end at the US Bands Group III A-Class National Championships on November 8th, at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The Red Devil Marching Band is led on the field by Drum Major Josh Springer and student leaders Emma Barr, Caitlin Tyson, Dillon McBride, Katie Smith, Matt Torres, Erin Routhier, Jeancarlo Rodriguez and Brian Sommer. Marching Band Director, Larry Little believes the students are poised for a strong finish. If you have any questions, please contact Director Larry Little at [email protected]. The RV Football Team has been selected as one of the choices for NBC10’s “High School Blitz Game of the Week” for Friday, November 7th. RV and Lenape will be pitted against two other games in the NBC10 viewing area. The game with the most votes will be featured extensively on the High School Blitz, which airs every Saturday night at 7pm on NBC10. Additionally, NBC10 will come to RV on the day before the game to film a pre-game feature. To cast a vote: Go to nbc10.com and look for the “Game of the Week” section on the main page or phone 610-624-4111 and text “2” for RV. You can vote once a day until Wednesday, November 5th at 10pm. The winning game will be announced on NBC10 News at 11pm that evening.

Congratulations to the RV Boys Soccer team who won it's first Burlington County Liberty Division title since 2007 with a 1-1 tie against Cinnaminson. The team will play their first round game of the NJSIAA state playoffs on Monday, November 3rd at 2pm at the RV Complex.

Beginning this winter sport season the athletic program will be utilizing an online site (Family ID ) for parents and/or guardians to complete mandatory additional physical paperwork. If, you have previously submitted a completed physical packet you must complete the forms at the online site (Family ID). You can find the information at the RV website under documents and forms in the athletic folder entitled "Family ID Parent Intro Letter.The deadline to have the physical submitted and the online forms completed is November 14th for this winter season. The online process is mandatory for each season. No athlete will be allowed to participate unless the forms are completed by the deadline.
