The Mount Holly Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an at-risk missing person.

Name: Blaine N. Bringhurst
Age: 75
Description: White male, 6’3”, approximately 215 lbs
Last Seen: Around 12:00 PM on High Street (Sal’s Pizza) in Mount Holly
Clothing: Beige T-Shir,blue jeans, brown shoes

Mr. Bringhurst is known to frequent businesses in the Fairgrounds Plaza area and the 7-Eleven in Mount Holly and/or Westampton. He has also been known to walk long distances from his home.

If you have any information that may help us safely locate Blaine Bringhurst, please call 911 immediately or contact the Mount Holly Police Department.

FINAL CASE UPDATE: INVESTIGATION CLOSED!

After weeks of clues, witness statements, foot pursuits, K-9 intelligence, and some outstanding detective work from our community, we can officially announce that ALL FIVE missing Mount Holly Police Rocks have been recovered!

Congratulations to our final Junior Detective, Henry, who tracked down the last missing rock and officially brought our summer investigation to a close!

With Henry’s successful recovery, we can finally stamp the entire case:

CASE CLOSED!

This summer’s investigation turned out to be a lot more fun than we ever expected. It was really great watching our Junior Detectives study the clues, search around town, and get their families involved in trying to figure out where our missing “rocks” were hiding.

I think it’s safe to say our missing rocks learned an important lesson: you can run, you can hide, but Mount Holly’s Junior Detectives will eventually find you!

A huge congratulations to Henry and all of our Junior Detectives who successfully recovered one of the five missing rocks. More importantly, thank you to every kid and family who participated, followed along, shared our clues, and made this such a fun community event.

K-9 INTELLIGENCE INTERCEPT

CASE UPDATE: Missing Police Rocks

Our detectives recently intercepted a suspicious conversation between our K-9 partners, Taz and Tyr, during one of their training sessions. After carefully translating the barks, growls, and a few enthusiastic tail wags, this is what we learned...

Taz: “Did you see that painted rock while we were training at the park?”

Tyr: “I sure did! I almost sniffed it out, but Chief said this case belongs to the junior detectives.”

Taz: “Good. I hope one of them finds it before everyone comes out for our Cruisin’ for K-9s event on November 1st. Since the event was postponed to the new date, we’ve had a little extra time to prepare and I don’t want anyone tripping over that rock!”

Tyr: “Agreed... we can just keep pretending we don’t know exactly where it is.”

DETECTIVE NOTE: Based on this intercepted conversation, investigators believe one of our missing rocks may be hiding somewhere near the area where Taz and Tyr will be hosting Cruisin’ for K-9s on November 1st.

Our K-9s clearly know more than they’re telling us, but unfortunately, neither one is cooperating with investigators. Apparently, treats are not considered an acceptable interrogation technique.

Good luck, Junior Detectives! Keep those detective eyes open and see if you can crack the case before Taz or Tyr accidentally gives up the location!

PARENTS: Use caution as the school it is under construction. The missing rock is not near that area.

This weekend, we held our 2nd Annual PBA Local #37 Field Day & Backpack Giveaway, and once again, Mount Holly showed up.

What started last year as a simple idea from our officers has quickly become a tradition we are very proud of. Our PBA members volunteered their own time to put together a fun day for our kids and help families get ready for the upcoming school year.

I am proud of our officers not only for the work they do in uniform, but for the way they continue to invest in this community on their own time.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, partnered with us, or simply came out and spent the day with us. We could not do this without you.

Year two is in the books, and we are already looking forward to year three.

LEMONADE TASTING TASK FORCE — BACK ON PATROL!

Apparently word is getting around that if you open a lemonade stand in Mount Holly, there’s a good chance the Lemonade Tasting Task Force is going to find you.

Today our officers and some friends from the Mount Holly Fire Department located another stand and immediately launched a full investigation.

After careful inspection, multiple taste tests, and absolutely no disagreement among investigators, this stand officially earned the highly coveted:

MOUNT HOLLY POLICE — CERTIFIED FRESH

These young entrepreneurs were serving up some great lemonade and even better smiles. Of course, once one officer stopped, backup quickly arrived… purely for investigative purposes.

The Lemonade Tasting Task Force remains on active duty for the rest of the summer. If we spot your stand, be prepared, we take lemonade enforcement very seriously.

Great job, everyone! Thanks for keeping Mount Holly cool!

CASE UPDATE: ANOTHER MISSING ROCK RECOVERED!

The Case of the Missing Police Rocks is getting closer and closer to being officially closed!

Just as I announce a winning brother/sister team, a sister/sister team comes walking in with another missing rock. Congratulations to Junior Detectives Abby and Sofia, another young team who put together the clues, followed the investigation, and successfully located another one of our missing Mount Holly Police Rocks!

This “missing officer” was safely recovered near Folwell School, where it had apparently been hiding out while keeping a close eye on the playground. It thought it had found the perfect hiding spot, but it clearly underestimated the quick-thinking detective skills of Abby and Sofia!

Outstanding work, Jr. Detectives!

As a reward for cracking the case, Abby and Sofia chose a Nintendo Lego Set for their outstanding detective work. They must love solving puzzles!

Let’s give Junior Detectives Abby and Sofia a big Mount Holly congratulations for helping us get one step closer to CASE CLOSED!

With this latest recovery, only ONE missing police rock remains! That means we are officially down to our FINAL CASE!

Somewhere out there, one last missing Mt Holly rock is waiting to be found. Keep following the clues and trust those detective instincts. Remember just because a clue hasn’t been given doesn’t mean it’s not able to be located. Someone is going to be the Junior Detective who officially brings this investigation to an end!

Remember:
The rock is hidden in a safe, publicly accessible location.
No climbing fences, digging through bushes, or going onto private property.
Keep your eyes open, you never know when a small detail might crack the case!

Now the question is…
WHO WILL FIND THE FINAL MISSING ROCK?
Next clue for the final missing rock will be released Tuesday August 18th at 4:00pm.

We have another major break in the Case of the Missing Police Rocks!

Congratulations to Junior Detectives Bennett and Zoe, who teamed up, followed the clues, searched our downtown area, and successfully located another one of our missing Mount Holly Police Rocks!

This “missing officer” was safely recovered near the gazebo in our downtown area, where it had apparently been enjoying the sights from an elevated position watching everyone pass by. It picked a pretty good spot to hide, but not good enough to escape the sharp eyes of Bennett and Zoe!

With another rock safely returned home, don’t put away those detective badges just yet. I have not been informed of any other winners so far, which means there are two more missing rocks out there. Another updated clue for the most recent missing rock sighting will be given out tomorrow at 4:00pm.

We’re getting close to closing this case for good.

Who will become our next Junior Detective and help bring another missing officer home?
