The Mount Hope Housing Authority was established in 1937 as one of the first public housing authorities in West Virginia and is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners. Mount Hope Housing Authority administers 135 Public Housing Units for eligible low-income families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
