Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy each day. Today, we take a moment to remember the heroes who never made it home.

Happy National EMS Week to our neighboring agencies and Mutual Aid services! 🎉🚑✨

When seconds matter, collaboration, quick action, and multiple teams working toward the same goal can make all the difference. 💪

WV Lifeline Ambulance is fortunate to work alongside some of the best Mutual Aid and neighboring agencies serving the communities of Southern West Virginia, and we could not let National EMS Week pass without recognizing these outstanding groups of EMS professionals.

Whether responding simultaneously to the same patients, covering the same communities, or helping patients navigate the same healthcare systems, we are grateful for the partnerships and teamwork shared with Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, Coal City Fire Department and EMS, Mount Hope Fire Department and EMS, HealthNet Aeromedical Services, and Air Evac Lifeteam. 🚑🚁

Today, WV Lifeline Ambulance had the opportunity to host a cookout in celebration of National EMS Week! 🚑💙💚

Our team members, their families, and even EMS staff from neighboring agencies came together to share great food, stories, laughs, music, and enjoy the beautiful weather the day brought. ☀️🌭🍔

As a small token of appreciation, each of our team members received a gift bag containing a rechargeable flashlight, EMS-themed mug, multi-function foldable shears, and a handwritten Thank You card from our CEO. 🎁

Days like today serve as a reminder that WV Lifeline Ambulance values everyone not simply as a work team, but as a work family. The dedication, compassion, and hard work shown by our crews every single day do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for each member of our organization. 🤩

As we recognize National EMS Week, we want to take a moment o thank the people who make our mission possible every day - our dedicated EMS team.

In just one year of service, our agency has experienced tremendous growth and many exciting changes. Through it all, our staff has remained committed to what matters most: providing quality patient care, building meaningful relationships, and always going the extra mile for those we serve.

What truly sets this team apart is their ability to connect with patients, treat every individual with dignity and compassion, and lead with heart in every interaction. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding group of field employees who represent our organization each day.

Although Tyler's work and dedication toward the development of our organization began more than two years prior to our licensure and launch, he has now formally spent the last year serving as the agency's Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Through his experience, education, and steady leadership, Tyler has successfully helped keep WV Lifeline Ambulance on track with our mission and growth goals throughout our first year of service. His commitment to expanding access to quality medical transportation and strengthening our organization has played a major role in the accomplishments our agency has achieved thus far.

Tyler joined our team immediately after the launch of our organization as an Emergency Medical Vehicle Operator (EMVO). In this role, he helps ensure our patients are transported safely and efficiently to and from their destination while onboard our ambulances.

Although his work with Lifeline began prior to our official launch, Jerod has now formally spent the last year serving as our Director of Fleet Maintenance. He works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our units safe, reliable, and ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

His dedication and attention to detail play a major role in keeping WV Lifeline Ambulance on the road and ensuring we can continue providing high-quality access to care for our community every single day.

Today, WV Lifeline Ambulance celebrates ONE FULL YEAR in service! 🎉🚑

Over the last year, we have achieved so many milestones, met incredible people, and completed a large number of transports for a brand new agency. In just one year, we have expanded our fleet by 4 ambulances and increased the number of onboard clinicians, EMVOs, and administrative personnel dedicated to serving our communities.

Some highlights from our first year include:
* Completing more than 1,500 transports 🚑
* Providing services that ended in 5 different states 🗺️
* Beginning our HealthNet Ground Transport partnership to keep Critical Care patients moving safely during poor weather conditions 🚁
* Becoming a partner of the AWAY Program in Fayette County for transport of survivors of sexual assault 💙
* Building strong partnerships with many Skilled Nursing Facilities and more than 7 Hospitals 🏥
* Successfully gained authorization from the Fayette County Commission to begin 911 services in Fayette County ☎️
and many, many more!

And this is only the beginning...

As we enter year two, we look forward to continued growth, stronger partnerships, and expanding our mission of Mobilizing Accessibility across the region. Thank you to our staff, community partners, patients, and supporters for making this first year possible. 💙💚
