The next time you're at the library, you might notice some new Yoto cards and kits available! Thanks to a generous donation from the Library Endowment fund, we were able to purchase a larger selection of new Yoto cards and add three player kits!

Yoto players are screen free audio devices that play audiobooks, music, podcasts and other educational content by inserting plastic cards (about the size of a credit card) into the player. These portable audio players are great for children ages three and up to independently manage their listening for bedtime or playtime.

Find them in the Intermediate area across from the Children's Desk. Special shoutout to our practicum student Cayla for working so hard to get this collection ready for checkout!

It's National Friends of the Library week and we would like to thank our amazing Friends! Did you know the Friends purchase all the copies of the books we give away for Big Read, Middle Read, and Little Read? They also purchased the outdoor musical instruments loved by so many adults and children! The Friends fund programs and Lucky Day collections too! To learn more about the Friends, stop by our next meeting Thursday, November 12th at 7 PM (at the library)!
