Join us for Cops and Bobbers June 6th. No fishing license is necessary as it is statewide Free Fishing Weekend. Come down, wet a line and chat with your local police force. There will be snacks, waters and prizes.
No equipment is necessary as we have poles and bait available.

A true highlight of some of the great work that the First Responders we have here in Mount Horeb are doing day in and day out.

This was a life-saving success that all started with a citizen who recognized an issue and started the rescue by calling 9-1-1 to get the first responders there ASAP. The faster our responders can get to a patient, the better chance to have a positive outcome.

We're so thankful for the outcome in this incident.

Today we were blessed with a very generous donation from Emma Loves Dogs. This is great step for us as we make the final push towards fully funding our upcoming K9 program here at the Mount Horeb Police Department.

We cannot thank you enough for your support. Donations like these are a critical component to having a successful and sustainable program.

Continuing on with our Lost and Found series- We will be posting a listing in our lobby of a variety of items turned into the Mount Horeb Police Department over the past couple of years. These items range from cell phones and wallets, to jewelry, to knives and chainsaws.

If you think you've lost an item and would like to check, we are putting a list of items in our lobby for you to check and see if we have something that may belong to you.

To claim your item, you must be able to provide reasonable proof of ownership such as a detailed description of the item, security passcode or other form.

Have you lost a bike or e scooter over the last year?
We currently have large number of lost/abandoned bikes and scooters that have been turned in over the last year that we're looking to return to owners if at all possible.

If you are missing your ride, please contact the Mount Horeb Police Department at 608-437-5522 with a description and we will comb through our inventory to see if we have your bike or scooter.

Any items not claimed will be donated.
