The Mount Jackson Police Department will be collecting your unused and expired medications on October 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Mount Jackson Police Department and the Mount Jackson Drug Store. Please check the flyer for what can be accepted.

WE ARE HIRING!
Position: FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER
SALARY RANGE: $53k - $62k (based on experience)

$5,000 HIRING BONUS!
$2,500 upon hire + $2,500 after successfully completing 12 months

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
DCJS Certification — Required
21 years of age
High school graduate or GED equivalent
U.S. Citizen
Valid Virginia Driver’s License
No criminal record
2+ years of experience for $5,000 hiring bonus eligibility
