The Mount Jewett Borough has an opening for a part-time seasonal employee. This position is for ground maintenance throughout the borough for the Summer months. This seasonal job will require w**d eating on hills, mowing with a push and riding mower and other duties as deemed necessary. Wage depending on experience.

The Mount Jewett Borough has a vacancy for a full-time (40+ hrs/wk) maintenance worker.

Experience operating various types of equipment preferred - including, but not limited to, zero turn mowers, w**d eaters, snowblowers, and backhoes. Snowplowing experience is also preferred.

Position also requires quality control checks and operational responsibilities for the wastewater treatment facility, which will include being on-call for emergencies and QC checks on weekends.

Applicants must reside no further than 15 miles from Mt. Jewett due to being on call. Pay and benefits package will be discussed during interviews.

BOROUGH SECRETARY - NOW HIRING
The Borough of Mount Jewett, PA seeks a full time, detail-oriented Borough Secretary. This position supports both the Borough of Mount Jewett and Mount Jewett Sewer.
Duties include meeting agendas/minutes, records management, communications, payroll processing, QuickBooks bookkeeping, basic grant writing, and general administrative support.

Must be able to attend one monthly evening meeting. Competitive wage and benefit package based experience. Strong organizational and communication skills required; municipal experience preferred.
