Today is also the first day of our Unearth a Story Summer Reading Program! Send the kids in today to grab their packets with tracking sheet and instructions and, most importantly, to check out a book or 2!

The dinosaurs are growing! 🦖

We have at least 15 chicks currently developing. It’s hard to be absolutely sure of whats going on in the green and brown eggs. In one week, keep an eye out for pips and peeps, you can come on in and watch the hatching!

The photo shows the veins that run around the egg and the dark area is all chick!

Wow, this egg sure is developing into a shape that is not very chicken like......😳😳🦖
Just kidding! This particular dino egg is actually a 3D printed lamp and is a grand prize for Summer Reading! How do you win? Sign up the kids anytime from June 1-July 31 and earn entries with daily reading, program attendance, and a few other chances to get a ticket!

We are gratefully accepting donations towards the Mt. Jewett Rotary's yearly Endowment Fund, but we also know some folks prefer to donate toward programs! If you are one of the people who like to see exactly what you pay for, well, we have an Amazon wish list of Summer Reading program fun!

PS: we will be candling the modern dinosaur eggs (ok fine, chickens!) again on Friday at 4:30pm. Last Friday, we were able to see a few eggs developing, hopefully they are still doing well!
