It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a great friend and longtime supporter of Hero Hunt. The one and only, Larry Hawkins.
From the very beginning, he believed in our mission and was there to support the Veterans, First Responders, and families we serve.
Through countless dove hunts, meals shared, stories told, and many days spent together in the outdoors, he became much more than a supporter of Hero Hunt, he became part of our family.
Looking back, it was never really about the number of hunts or the birds harvested. It was about the friendships formed, the laughter, the conversations, and the memories made along the way.
Most importantly, it was about the impact he had on the lives of so many people who had the privilege of spending time with him.
He was a great man, a loyal friend to many, and someone whose presence will be deeply missed.
The entire Hero Hunt family extends our heartfelt condolences, prayers, and love to his family and friends during this difficult time.
Thank you for the years of friendship, support, and memories. We are grateful to have shared part of the journey with you.
