The weather doesn’t get much better than it was for our Monday night social ride. Next week will be our last 6:00 start and we would love to have a big turnout. If you’ve ridden with us before, please come join us again. If you’ve never given us a try next Monday is your chance. I know you will enjoy the ride. We roll out of Charlie Daniels at 6:00. Bicycles and popsicles make for a fun Monday social ride. Thanks A.J. for the popsicles, thanks CarryAnn for the ice cold Gatorade, and thanks Melly for the delicious watermelon. It was a warm ride but exactly what we expect in the middle of August, with plenty of refreshments. There are only two more Monday night social rides left this year, so come join us next week. See you at Charlie Daniels Park at 6:00 pm.

We don’t get too many evenings like this during August in Tennessee. Low humidity and a temperature in the 80’s made for a great ride with great friends. We coined a new phrase tonight, “The Burka Shortcut” it actually adds miles to your ride but it’s a shortcut to better conditioning. Lead on Mr. Burka, you are an inspiration! Even though it didn’t feel like 115 degrees we still stopped for popsicles. Come join us next Monday for more miles and popsicles. We roll out of Charlie Daniels at 6:00.

The Monday night ride got a little warm so we took a popsicle break. It was hot but we still had loads of fun. Come join us next Monday. We leave Charlie Daniels Park at 6:00.

Last week the weather was perfect, tonight was warm but we didn’t let it stop us. We welcomed four new riders to the group; William and Caleb are training for the ride across Iowa, Carrie Anne is training for the ride across Wilson and Abram is breaking in a new bike. Come have some fun and ride with us next Monday. We leave Charlie Daniels Park at 6:00.

The Monday night Three Amigos had a great ride. Cloud cover, no wind, and 75 degrees. The conditions could not have been better, and we stayed dry. It looked like the sky could open at any minute, and I would be lying if I said we watched the road more than the sky. We hope you’ll join us next Monday. We leave Charlie Daniels Park at 6:00.

Today was Walk To School Day for the Watertown Elementary Purple Tigers. With only a couple more days of school, the excitement was at a fever pitch. Thanks to principal Davis, her staff, and the Wilson County Sheriff’s department for keeping everyone safe.
