Soaring to Victory in Music City! 🏃‍♂️💨

Our Lakeview Eagles truly soared to new heights today in Nashville! 🦅
We are incredibly proud of the 13 amazing Running Club students who laced up their sneakers and competed in the Nashville Music Dash 5K. They gave it their all, represented our school with fantastic sportsmanship, and showed incredible determination.

A special congratulations goes out to two of our phenomenal eagles who took home major wins in the 14-and-under category:
Trotter won 1st Place!🏆
Owen won 2nd Place!🥈

What an outstanding achievement for these hard-working runners! Way to lead the flock!

Field Day is Almost Here! 🦅

Get ready for an exciting day of fun and teamwork! Our Lakeview Elementary Eagles are preparing to soar to new heights for Field Day on Friday, May 8th.

Please review the following guide to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day for everyone:

🎟️ RSVPs & Logistics
RSVP: Please contact your homeroom teacher ASAP so your visitor badge can be pre-printed for your arrival.

T-Shirts: Field Day shirts will be given to students on Field Day! 👕

Backpacks: We strongly encourage students to leave backpacks at home. If one is brought, it must be stored in the hallway outside the classroom. 🎒

🧺 Picnic Lunch & Treats
Picnic Time: Our school-wide lunch takes place from 10:15–11:15 AM.

Please Note: No student sign-outs are allowed during this lunch hour. If visiting multiple children, please plan to split your time during this window.

Kona Ice: Students may purchase a treat for $5.00 (exact cash only). Teachers enjoy a complimentary treat! Please remember these are for students and staff only. 🍧

☀️ Visitor & Safety Guidelines
Outdoor Events: Visitors are welcome at all outdoor field events. To ensure our focus remains on our students, we kindly ask that non-school aged children do not attend.

Sign-Out Process: * With Car Tag: Sign out with the homeroom teacher to receive an exit ticket.

Without Car Tag: Please visit the Main Office with your ID to receive your exit ticket. 🪪

Siblings: All sibling sign-outs must be handled through the Main Office.

Departure: Once signed out, we kindly ask that families depart campus promptly. 🚗

To ensure a smooth transition, please make sure your student brings their Chromebook and charger to school during the week of May 11. Please note that no devices should be taken home after this date. 🎒
